Nicola Glover-Thomas came to Manchester in 2012 as a Professor of Medical Law. Her career at Manchester began in 1995 as PhD student, and was followed by an academic post at the University of Liverpool. She has been PI for several projects around mental health law, focusing on risk determination and the impact of external factors on mental health and legal application. She held a BA Fellowship from 2012 – 2013. She has published widely in mental health law and has increasingly focused her attention on the regulation and distribution of pharmaceuticals within vulnerable groups.
