Nature Travel Grant Scheme for Journalists - Closed

Nature Travel Grant Scheme for 2016 - Closed

Following two previous successful grant schemes at ESOF 2012, Dublin and ESOF 2014, Copenhagen; Nature Publishing Group and EuroScience are delighted to announce that the Nature Travel Grant Scheme for ESOF 2016 is now open.

The Nature Travel Grant Scheme was put in place to help journalists attend the EuroScience Open Forum and to help raise the profile of the conference. Members of the media are able to apply for a complimentary pass to the conference as well a grant to help cover their travel and accommodation expenses.

Each application will be carefully reviewed before the final decision is made, which will happen in late April. All those successfully chosen for the grant will be contacted then to inform them of the decision and to arrange registration and accommodation. Applications will be judged on the merits of the submitted CV and supporting statement.

For those unsuccessful in their bid for the Nature Travel Grant Scheme, complimentary tickets to the EuroScience Forum are still available (with proper media accreditation) through the dedicated media registration platform. More information on this can be found here.

Nature has supported ESOF since its inception in 2004 and we are delighted to continue the tradition of our partnership. Springer Nature is a publisher of high impact scientific and medical information in print and online. Throughout all its businesses NPG is dedicated to serving the scientific and medical communities and the scientifically interested general public.
