Meet the ESOF 2016 Delivery Team

Vicky is responsible for overseeing the delivery of all aspects of ESOF 2016 including the Science in the City Programme.

Kate provides administrative assistance to the Programme Director enabling the development and delivery of ESOF 2016, as well as support for all local and international committees.

Clair is responsible for the sponsorship and sales strategy; engaging with the commercial market including: private sector sponsorship, individual giving and trusts & foundations.

Paul is chiefly responsible for the planning, development and delivery of the complete scientific programme for ESOF 2016, working with the Programme Committee to develop the call for proposals, coordinating the review process and providing guidance for applicants.

Sandra leads on the co-ordination of the Science to Business aspects of the conference, working closely with the Science to Business Committee, to support and engage the business community.

Amelia provides assistance to the Science to Business Programme Manager and the Programme Director, enabling the development and delivery of ESOF 2016.

Rob provides additional assistance to the ESOF 2016 committees, enabling the development and delivery of ESOF 2016.

Yuta provides support to the ESOF 2016 delivery team for the development and delivery of ESOF 2016. He is seconded to the ESOF 2016 delivery team from Miraikan, the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation in Tokyo, Japan.

Emma Pemberton-Eccles
Head of Communications and Marketing
Emma leads on the co-ordination and delivery of the marketing and communications activity to promote ESOF 2016 and help position Manchester as the European City of Science.

Andy looks after all press and PR in relation to ESOF.

Enna supports Emma with the marketing and communications surrounding ESOF 2016. She also manages both the ESOF and European City of Science websites and social media.

Pete manages the income and expenditure on the ESOF project.

Annie is the Programme Director for the European City of Science, she leads the way in organising the events that will happen as part of the European City of Science celebrations in Manchester in 2016.

Sarah is leading on the production of the core events for the Science in the City festival including the Allotment of the Future, Tiny Science and the Science Lates series.

Jim supports Annie in the development and execution of the programme for the European City of Science.
